Saw this man play many times….Premier league for Manchester Northern and also on the big stage a few times…
What a treat it was…. always entertaining with a vast array of shots and a deadpan humour that was difficult to tell if he was joking or deadly serious…actually I’m not sure HE knew either most of the time… it just sort of evolved into either a joke or an argument…
either way Adrian Davies was always box-office…

Some of my fondest memories of squash were playing with Adrian Davies guy or spending time with him. We brought out the best of each on court and possibly the worst of each other off it !
Without doubt not the greatest player of the last 40 years but definitely one of the most naturally talented and gifted guys I have had the pleasure of both watching and playing.
A great friend and someone I admire, respect and appreciate in so many different ways

Thank you all for some lovely comments……. if the truth be known, I was always knackered…… and just had a laugh with the ref, opponent, spectators or anybody close……. to have a rest !!!!!!!……
the likes of Elopuro, Chaloner, Chris Walker, Maclean, JK and JK, Eylesy, …… even Stephen Meads ( bless him ) Ricki Hill, Rod Martin, Gregs, Marsh, Ransome, Ross Norman, Parkey etc etc, could run all day……….. I COULDNT !!!!
