Victor Crouin claimed his third PSA Challenger title in three months, with a third successive final victory over top seed Lucas Serme.

Day Two : It’s Lucas and Victor again

Top seeds Lucas Serme and Victor Crouin set up a third successive challenger final between the pair as they eased through their semi-finals with straight game wins over Sebastien Bonmalais and Ryoesi Kobayashi.

Day One :

No sweat for the seeds in the opening round in Cognac, with all eight winning through to the quarters, fourth-seeded Ryosei Kobayashi the only one to drop a game.

The Cognac Open will be held at Squash La Belle Allée, with a strong field in action.

Five of the world’s top 75 are in the draw, including World #44 Victor Crouin, who has won his last two events on the Challenger Tour.

On both occasions, he downed Lucas Serme, the World #36, who is the top seed for this tournament.

World #50 Benjamin Aubert and World #62 Sebastian Bonmalais will also be aiming high for this week’s event, while Japan’s Ryosei Kobayashi, the World #72, is the only non-Frenchman in the draw.
