Florida Open 2018

Pajares wins in Boca Raton

Iker Pajares had the perfect finish to the year when he won the last tournament of the year at the Life Time Betty Griffin Florida Open.

He beat # 1 seed Ritchie Fallows 9, 6, 5, 6 in 60 min to win his first Florida Open and add his name to the Betty Griffin Trophy. He played the perfect game today with Fallows not at his very best but had enough in the tank to beat him.

“He played him 2 weeks ago in British league and to beat him in a final at the Life Time Florida Open was the icing on the cake.”

The 100min game yesterday might have left Fallows a little flat, today but says he was happy with his performance although winning was always on his mind.

Both players are looking forward to coming back next year. Fallows hoping 3rd time lucky to win the title and Pajares to defend his title.

Maur went on to say “Both players had a great event and looking forward to seeing them in future Life Time Events next year.”
