The London Open men’s final will be an all-English affair after Pontefract team-mates James Willstrop and Patrick Rooney won through at the Cumberland Club.
Top seed Willstrop beat USA’s Shahjahan Khan while Rooney beat unseeded Belgian Jan Van Den Herrewegen, both in straight games.
Women’s top seed Jasmine Hutton beat France’s Enora Villard in three and in the final she’ll face USA’s Sabrina Sobhy, who upset second seeded Egyptian Menna Nasser in four games.
