Malaysian Nationals : Finals

The OHANA Malaysian Nationals took place from 16th to 21st July at the National Centre in Kuala Lumpur, with the recently retired Nafiizwan Adnan and Nicol David notable absentees.

Finals : Three-peats for Wee Wern and Ivan

Low Wee Wern and Ivan Yuen claimed both won their third National titles at the conclusion of the Malaysian Nationals in KL. Low overcame surprise finalist Rachael Arnold in four games, and Yuen beat top seed Eain Yow Ng, also in four game, to make it three titles in a row.

Semis: Rachel takes out defending champ

Top seeds Eain Yow Ng and Low Wee Wern made it safely through to the finals. Second seed and two-time defending champion Ivan Yuen will contest the men’s final while Rachel Arnold upset second seed and defending champion Sivasangari Subramaniam in five games.
