Salem takes title in five game final thriller
Zahed Salem claimed the Atlanta Open 2025 title in an epic five game thriller that saw him 2-1
and match ball down in the fourth, to fight back with his grit and experience 11-9 in the 5th in 78.
Speaking to a packed crowd after his victory Salem was ecstatic and happy to pull through and said it was a lot of mental strength that got him through over 1his 10 year younger opponent Omar Said. Zahed also mentioned he loves Atlanta and has won 2 titles in 2023 and 2025 and runner up in 2024.
Said was also very gracious in defeat and thanked the crowd for supporting him during the event and all the sponsors that made the event possible and was looking forward to a rematch next year.
