Former World Junior Championship winner Rowan Damming and three-time Czech national champion Karolina Šrámková head into this weekend’s inaugural European Squash Cup U23 as title favourites.
A brand new addition to the European Squash Federation calendar, the European Squash Cup U23 supports 19-22-year-old players transitioning from the junior circuit to the professional tour – addressing a long-standing gap in the player development pathway.
Taking place at Lisbon’s well-known Squash Olaias Club, the event offers $2,000 prize money for men and women, PSA ranking points for all participants and a full Monrad format, guaranteeing at least three matches for all players.
