Aboelkheir targets World’s top four after positive start in qatar
A thoroughly deserved win for World No.11 Youssef Soliman with some brilliant squash from Youssef Soliman.
Far more precision from the World No.11 compared to Zakaria, with the latter becoming visibly frustrated towards the back end of the second game.
Soliman put some hard work into Zakaria’s legs in the first game, and that seems to have been rewarded as he doubles his advantage with an 11-5 scoreline.
The 85-minute three-game duel was of the highest quality from start to finish, with the gruelling battle closed out on a monster three-and-a-half-minute rally.
Full credit to Zakaria, who saved two match balls to force a third-game tie-break, but it’s Soliman who advances to the quarter-finals, where World No.4 Karim Gawad awaits.

A professional performance from No.8 seed Eleinen to bring day two to a close.
The Egyptian powered through a one-sided third game against Masotti to set up a box-office quarter-final clash with World No.1 Mostafa Asal.
Eleinen has shown great character to battle back from 7-4 down in the second game and double his advantage in the match.
A flurry of errors from the racket of Masotti looks to have proven costly at the back end of the second game….
