Meeting for the fifth time with the H2H standing at two-all, Fayrouz Aboelkheir and Farida Mohamed contested the final in Philadelphia, having beaten the top two seeds in the semi-finals.
After three close games it was Aboelkheir, leading two-one, who dominated the fourth to claim the title.

It was a double upset in the semi-finals at Philadelphia Cricket Club as Egyptian third and fourth seeds Fayrouz Aboelkheir and Farida Mohamed beat the top two seeds in contrasting fashion.
Aboelkheir came from 0-1 and 1-2 down to topple Tinne Gilis while Mohamed eased past Gina Kennedy, who retired after two quick games.
Quarters : top seeds win through to semis
Top four seeds Tinne Gilis, Georgina Kennedy, Fayrouz Aboelkheir and Farida Mohamed all advanced to the semi-finals after the quartet claimed wins on quarter-finals day at the Silver-level event at The Philadelphia Cricket Club.
Both home hopes were knocked out on day three, as fourth seed Mohamed defeated last year’s runner-up Marina Stefanoni in four games, while second seed Kennedy got the better of fifth seed Sabrina Sobhy.
In the other half of the draw top seed Gilis and third seed Aboelkheir both advanced to set up a semi-final showdown.
