I’ve been at Trinity college for almost 2 months now, time is flying !
Everything happened really fast because I arrived 10 days before the start of the season and I had to adapt myself to the jet lag and start training 2 times a day with the team. We were training hard because all the important matches were coming in January against Drexel, Harvard, Princeton… and we had to win to keep our ranking of number 1.
Which we did.
I’m really happy because it was a little bit of pressure and I had to adapt myself to all of these new conditions and still play my best at the same time. I discovered what it is to be part of a team and fight not only for you but for 14 people ! I met some really nice girls, strong on the court and lovely out of it. We are all coming from different countries so they all have been through the same process which brings us together.
We haven’t lost a single match this season so we will be ranked number one for the national team championships next week-end. We are really looking forward to it because the last time Trinity won it was in 2014.
So the focus right now is on preparing those matches and give a last push to get this title back home!
