Colombia’s Juan Camilo Vargas produced the upset of the tournament as he beat top seed Leonel Cardenas in five games to reach the semi-finals.
Elsewhere the quarters went to seeding as Leandro Romiglio, Faraz Khan and Timothy Brownell advanced.
