England’s Tom Walsh is flourishing in Florida since relocating to the Sunshine State for a “metaphorical kick up the arse” under the eye of Egyptian squash legend Wael El Hindi.
The 26-year-old has been training at Kinetic Indoor Racquet Club in Boynton Beach, 60 miles up the coast from Miami, for the last two and a half years.
The move from his native Brighton was fuelled by a realisation that he was reaching peak age for a squash player and needed to “hit the accelerator” in order to achieve a few career goals.
