Fram Gommendy reports
You might remember that English Nick Taylor – after spending 7 years coaching many talents with his Nick Taylor Academy (NTA) – is the new US National Coach.
Well, it was a bit of an emotional moment for Nick as he had to close his Academy to go to greener pastures and take charge of the US Team in Philadelphia. He posted a lovely goodbye on his FB page….
“Today was the last day of NTA Squash in Boston, Massachusetts. 7 years of introducing squash to hundreds of new players and guiding them to reach their goals. Our players have won hundreds of titles including National Championships, US Open Championships, JCT Championships and British Junior open medals.
.
We have not only produced talented players, but humble kids many of whom have won US Squash sportsmanship awards. This is something we are very proud of!
.
Our NTA motto is Passion, Honesty and Enjoyment and we know these three coaching philosophies help produce great players and even greater people who love the game.
.
Now onto my new and very exciting role as the Ganek Family US Squash Head National Coach with the focus on the LA28 Olympics in 4 years!”
