Quarter-Finals : Varela run continues
The run of unseeded Hugo Varela continued as Club Euro Sport as he followed up his round two win over top seed Martin Svec with a five game win over Switzerland’s Robin Gadola to reach the semi-finals.
There he’ll face fourth seed Mohamed Nasser, who prevailed in an all-Egyptian quarter-final against Ziad Ibrahim.
The bottom half of the draw will see second and third seeds Ivan Perez and Owain Taylor go heat to head for a place in the final.
