Lucy : “Olivia fires the ball in, she’s got a nice kill and a little reverse angle. I was a little flat-footed at the beginning of the match, so I just tried to push my ’T’ position up a bit after that.
“My first three weeks of the off-season I was with Nick [Matthew] in Sheffield, but the last three weeks I’ve been travelling around a bit – hitting with my brother at home etc, and I feel good and ready for the new season.
“Alicia and I played a few matches in the off-season, and she’s a really good player, so I’m looking forward to that match tomorrow.”
