Local interest is boosted by wildcards Fergus Richards, Martin Ross and Alasdair Prott who all have first round matches as they attempt to join the top eight seeds in Round Two.
In the women’s draw the top four places are occupied by English trio Julianne Courtice, Rachael Chadwick and Georgina Kennedy, plus Marie Stephan of France.
Scotland is represented by Georgia Adderley and Alison Thomson – seeded #5 and #8 – plus Katriona Allen and wildcards Lucy Murchie and Catherine Holland.
