Weeks and days after achieving new career high world rankings, Olivia Weaver and Timmy Brownell lead the title chase as the top seeds of the 2024 U.S. Women’s and S.L. Green U.S. Men’s Championships, June 11-14, at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center.

Forty-nine of the nation’s top players–including U.S. Junior National Team players who completed their final training squad ahead of international competition this weekend–will vie for equal prize money and the title of national champion.
Weaver and Brownell
Olivia and Timmy will carry positive momentum into the tournament following their recent success on the PSA World Tour.
Last month Weaver reached the PSA World Championships semifinals, earning her a new career high ranking of world No. 4, which she backed up with a quarterfinal appearance at the British Open last week.
The 2023 finalist, Weaver will be aiming to capture her first U.S. Women’s Championship title.
Only One Sobhy
Five-time champion Amanda Sobhy is absent from the draws this year as the former world No. 3 continues her rehabilitation from a torn Achilles.
2014 national champion and world No. 15 Sabrina Sobhy opposes Weaver in the draw as the two seed. Sobhy and Weaver faced each other just last week in the British Open third round with Weaver emerging victorious from a five-game clash.
Not only but also…
World No. 54 Marina Stefanoni and world 64 Caroline Fouts – a recent Harvard graduate and incoming Harvard freshman, respectively–will aim to upset the title favorites as the three and four seeds.
The Men
The men’s draw will feature six former champions including Brownell, who reached the national summit in 2022. Brownell made history last week by becoming the first American to reach a PSA Platinum quarterfinal at the British Open, which propelled him to a new career-high ranking of world No. 29 this week–making Brownell just the third American to ever reach the top thirty.
Andrew Douglas, world No. 52, will defend his title as the three seed with a potential semfinal match against two seed and world No. 49 Shahjahan Khan. Khan, the second men’s player to ever crack the world’s top thirty, will aim for his maiden national title.
Philadelphia native Todd Harrity, world No. 54, will target his fourth national title as the four seed seed. After upsetting the seeding to reach his maiden U.S. Championship final last year, Spencer Lovejoy will aim to upset the seedings again as the five seed.
