Organized by the Squash Association of Hong Kong, China, the Fourth Leg of the Hong Kong Squash PSA Challenge Cup 2024 concluded successfully this evening at the Kowloon Cricket Club after 5-consecutive days of the tournament.
The Women’s final was contested between two young players – the top seed, Hong Kong, China player Fung Ching Hei Heylie, and the third seed, Sehveetrraa Kumar from Malaysia. Sehveetrraa Kumar eventually claimed her title in straight games (11-7, 11-4, 11-3) over Heylie.
And the Men’s 7th seed, home player Lam Yat Ting Harley met the unseeded Malaysian Joachim Chuah in the final today. Joachim Chuah maintained his excellent form, defeating Harley by 3-0 (11-6, 11-6, 11-4) to take the victory home.
The Prize Presentation Ceremony was held after the Men’s Final. The Honorable Duncan Chiu, Chairman of the Squash Association of Hong Kong, presented the prizes to the winners.
