When David Campion finished his time with England Squash after 23 and a half years, after leading England to five World Team Championships and 42 European gold medals during his time at the helm, the Yorkshireman had no idea what was in store for him next.
But, after Campion had begun building his social media presence on LinkedIn and Instagram, Thomas Tang, the founder of FindingSquash in China, reached out to him for his coaching expertise.
Adding to his roster of a consultancy role as Olympic programme advisor at the Italian Squash Federation, Campion is working with private clubs across China to help grow the sport.
The Englishman also believes that, in time, China could be the next Egypt of squash.
