Assistant Squash Professional, Merion Cricket Club Haverford, PA
Founded in 1865, Merion Cricket Club is one of the most well-established squash establishments in the U.S. Featuring 8 international singles courts, 2 Hardball double courts plus a host of other amenities. MCC has a robust squash program, with adults and juniors, lessons, clinics, tournaments and leagues.
The assistant professional is a full-time position, with opportunities to be involved in all aspects of the program from administrative duties, private lessons, group clinics and tournaments. Weekend travel to events will be required.
The successful applicant will have the chance to work in one of the largest and strongest junior programs in the country, and a cohesive professional team environment.
Job functions include but are not limited to :
Coaching and teaching all levels of players at the club, both juniors and adults
Private lessons, group clinics and tournaments
Weekend travel to events will be required
Perform administrative duties
Qualifications/Skill Requirements :
Proven Squash coaching experience
Willingness to coach all levels of players
High level of energy, self-motivated and team player
First Aid/CPR/AED training preferred
