What a shame. What a truly deep shame.
A country struggling to regain its past glory, again embroiled in an underage scandal… I remember a conversation between James Willstrop, who just won the Pakistan Open in 2004, freshly out of the Juniors, and the Pakistan National Coach at the time, after his win in a lovely restaurant in Islamabad, with Jimbo asking bluntly why Pakistan Juniors were systematically overage in the international competitions…
Apart from the fact it was extremely brave from the young World Junior Champ, it highlights the fact that Pakistan leaders in charge are maybe still not approaching their goals from the correct angle…
But what do I know…
