“Incredible weeks in Palm Hills” says Promoter Mo Wagih

It’s been an incredible few weeks for the summer camp and the Palm Hills Arab International Junior Open. This summer camp was not only the biggest in Egypt but in the world alongside the tournament that was very diverse with players from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, United States, Canada, India, Ukraine and Greece. We had around 600 players for all the events with players from all over Egypt as well.

I would like to start by thanking Palm Hills Development, National Bank of Egypt, Ziad Al-Turki’s ATCO Group & CPIS for their huge support to Squash and specially this junior event. I am very excited that we partnered with the Arab Squash Federation and would like thank Mr Waleed K. Al Sumauei for this opportunity and looking forward to more exciting events together.

We would also like to take the opportunity to thank Egyptian Federation board member, Rasha Hegazi & Egyptian federation Tour Director, Omar ElBorolossy for their tremendous support throughout the event.

Also special shout-out to Palm Hills Club & Egyptian Shooting Club Board for being an amazing host to the tournament.

We need to also thank our Mo Sports Team for their hard work to make this a successful and fun event for all the players and their parents including Captain Sameer El Khateeb and Ahmed Rashwan.

We’ve worked really hard to plan this past few weeks out and it was a great opportunity to bring players from everywhere to Egypt to learn, compete and have fun with the Egyptian top juniors. We need to also special mention to World famous Referee Nasser Zahran and all the referees that made this tournament happen. We had over 1650 matches in a period of 7 days and over 14 courts!

Lastly, Would like to congratulate all the winners and I’m very excited for our upcoming events. We have a very special exciting surprise to come soon exclusive to Squashsite.

Mo Sports is very excited to announce the annual Summer Champion Junior Camps at Palm Hills club in Egypt starting July 1st led by Squash icon, Amir Wagih.

The camp is in preparation for our upcoming Arab Junior championships in July and has many of the top Egyptian champions joining with talented juniors also from over 10 counties including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, United States, Canada, Greece, Kuwait, India, Bahrain and more.

After our last season’s successful junior events organized by Mo Wagih, founder of Mo Sports, we planned new and exciting events for our second season. The annual Arab Junior International Open is the perfect kickstart for the season and will also take place at Palm Hills Club from July 21st until the 28th with players joining from Egypt and all over the world.

The tournament is hosted under the auspices of Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Egyptian minister of sports & youth. The events are individual boys and girls from U-11 to U-19. Last year, we had over 540 participants, over 100 players waitlisted, and we expect more this year so book your spot now!

Our main goal is to promote sports tourism, diversify the game of squash, and help all our talented juniors come together for a unique event. We would like to invite all the juniors around the world to come compete, have fun, and enjoy squash in the home of the game.

This season we have many exceptional events to come but we’re excited to get started with one of the biggest junior events in the world. Sign up now in link below:
