The 2023 English Junior Championships take place from 17th to 19th Feb at clubs across Surrey, with the final stages at St George’s Hill over the weekend.
We’ll be on site, covering the event on the ES minisite, with key links and daily updates here.
Day THREE : Finals Day at St George’s Hill
It was a good day for the top seeds at St George’s, with 9 of the 11 titles going the way of the favourites.
There were some notable multiple winners too – Torrie Malik making it six EJC titles to conclude her junior career, while Jonah Bryant won a sixth in a row and seventh overall!
Alex Broadbridge and Charlie Mc Crone both won their fourth EJC titles as they took the U17 honours – Charlie fighting back from two-nil down to bet the top seed.
Elsewhere it was a good day for Warwickshire with four title winners, and Surrey’s Thomas Earwicker became the first ever U19 Champion.

Day TWO : Seeds win through in Surrey
A busy day at St George’s with quarter and semi-finals in all but one of the categories, with the top two seeds winning through in all but one category, the exception being 3/4 seed Rida Ali through to the G11 final.
While most of seeds recorded convincing wins, G19 second seed Asia Harris had to battle back from two games down to set up another clash with top seed Torrie Malik, and B19 top seeds Jonah Bryant and Yusuf Sheikh were both taken to four games.
