Early bird or now owl?
Honestly, I am morning and night person. I am happy with anytime of the day.
What is your strongest point, personally and squashwise?
My strongest point personally is that i am relaxed, and organised person.
I would say my strongest point squashwise is the pace I play at, which is pretty fast, and my attacking play style is one of my strongest aspects as well.
A remote island: who do you go with? And what music/film/Tv show?
If I went to a remote island, I would go with my whole family. My choice of TV show would be Prison Break. My choice of film would be Step Brothers, And my music choice would be Everybody Wants to Rule the World, by Tears for Fears.
What is your weakest point, personally and squashwise?
My weakest point personally, is that i can be quite shy i think. My weakest point squashwise, is probably my focus levels i often go through patches where I make unforced errors.
In squash, what specific area do you need to improve?
In my squash game, the specific area in which I think I need to improve on is, my mental focus on the gameplan, trying to stick to the plan from the start of the match to the finish.
What do you find the most difficult in training? And in competition?
The thing I find must difficult in training is probably playing my older brother Perry in full court matches, because he is too skillfull, which makes me do loads of court sprints.
The most difficult thing I find about competitions is dealing with bad and inconsistent refereeing.
How pivotal/crucial/heartbreaking/strength-giver was the departure of your little brother in your life?
Honestly, my triplet brother Sumner’s passing was the most heartbreaking and painful thing I have ever been through. It has had a massive impact on my life and how I think about everything.
It has also impacted the way I think about my career in squash. Everything i do and achieve from now on, is for by brother Sumner.
