Egypt complete the World Juniors Clean Sweep
Hosts Egypt’s golden era continued on home court in Cairo as their women’s and men’s sides completed the double in the team event with victories over USA and Hong Kong, an eighth title for the men and a tenth successive win for the women.
Semi-Finals : Egypt cruise into both finals as USA’s men make their first
USA’s men’s side reached the final of the World Squash Junior Championships for the first time as the second seeds defeated India in a dominant display to set up a showdown with defending champions and hosts Egypt in Cairo’s Black Ball Sporting Club.
In the women’s semis Hong Kong fought back from a match down to reach the final for the first time since 2009 as they overcame USA. They too will go up against Egypt, who are targeting a record tenth consecutive World Championship title after dispatching England in the first of two Egypt-England clashes.

India’s men’s team, seeded five, produced the only upsen on quarter-finals day as they beat thed seeds and 2024 finalists Korea at Black Ball Sporting Club, Cairo.
That set up a semi-final meeting with second seeds USA while top seeds and defending champions Egypt will face England for a place in the final.
Egypt and England will also meet in the women’s semi-finals, with Hong Kong and USA contensting the other semi-final.

28 Jul, Day Two : France upset Pakistan to deny Brazilian glory
In a dramatic conclusion to the Group Stage of the men’s event, France scored a 2-1 win over Pakistan to pip Brazil to second place in Group F on countback and clinch a spot in the knockout stage, where Pakistan will take on Poland while France face 8th seeds Hong Kong.
The women’s event is poised for a dramatic end to the Group Stage tomorrow after two seeding upsets today ass with Ireland beat Brazil and No.14 seeds South Africa beat 11th seeds Germany.
27 Jul, Day One : Brazil upset France as team event begins
Men’s Ninth seeds France fell to an unlikely defeat to Brazil as the 2025 World Squash Junior Team Championships got underway at Black Ball Sporting Club in Cairo, with most teams playing twice on the opening day.
Elsewhere in the men’s draw there was another seedings upset as Poland got the better of 11th seeds New Zealand. Most other higher-seeded teams were able to enjoy smoother progress.
Hosts Egypt made assured starts to their title defence in both events, calling upon individual winners Mohamad Zakaria and Amina Orfi as the men’s side saw off five-time champions Australia in the morning and the women’s side breezed past New Zealand in the afternoon.
