Jahanzeb Masood: “Pakistan is coming”

Fram Gommendy reports

Houston Director, Mentor and Tournament Promoter Jahanzeb Masood is a very busy bee indeed.

You might remember his club also organising the World Juniors in July.

But what Jahanzeb loves above all is looking after young players. He has been training, coaching, protecting and nurturing a full nest of Pakistan players for a few years now.

Happy he is that one of his protegees, Ashab Irfan, just won the Mile High PSA event. Here is the message he posted on Instragram:

“Ashab embarked on his journey to Houston for training and competing in the PSA circuit.

“Since then, he has made tremendous progress, overcoming various challenges and achieving numerous accomplishments.

“Today, he has won his biggest prize money event, which will catapult him into the world rankings, likely placing him at 71 or 72.

“Ashab’s dedication and perseverance have been instrumental in his success, and he has the potential to break into the top 20 soon.

“I would like to extend my gratitude to all the sponsors and coaches who have supported him on his journey, including Nasr Magdy, Rob Owen, Omar Abdel Aziz, Waheed Naseem and fitness coach 1 Of 1 Performance Solution.

“Pakistan is coming back Alhamdulillah.”
