After two rounds of play on the opening day, it was the top eight seeds who contested the quarterfinals, with top seed Sebastien Bonmalais the sole remaining home hope.
The quarters and semis all went to seeding, so it Bonmalais will face Japan’s second seed Ryosei Kobayashi for the title on Sunday.
