This week on SquashSkills we welcome Nick Matthew back to talk about the importance of using height.
Nick always had an amazing ability to mix up the pace when he played. He applied relentless pressure and was known for taking time away from his opponents.
He also had an incredible ability to lift and use height from different areas of the court to give himself the opportunity to take control of the T.
In this amazing new series, Nick explains how to :
- use the top 1/3rd of the court effectively
- turn defence into attack
- find the right weight of shot for any given situation
- hit both the straight and crosscourt lob from the front and back of the court
A squash court is a large three-dimensional space. If you can learn to use all of it there’s no doubt you’ll become a better player.
