Home hopes now rest on second seed Tayyab Aslam, who downed Syafiq Kamal in straight games, setting up a semi-final with fourth seed Henry Leung from Hong Kong, who came from one-two down to beat compatrion Tsz Kwan Lau in 66 minutes.
