Declan collects Cleethorpes title
Top seed Declan James became the 2019 Cleethorpes Invitational champion, beating second seed George Parker in a four game final.
It was a very hard fought, tight and fair between two good mates. Declan was on top in the first, but then George pulled back to take the lead. A tight second game went to Declan, an easy third, and then George made it hard in fourth Declan pulled through to take the title.
In the semi-finals earlier in the day, Declan had come through in straight games against an agitated Richie Fallows, while George had regained his composure in the decider having let slip a two game lead over Chris Simpson.
