The PSA Challenger Tour returns to Hamburg this week for the second DSQV Sportwerk event, featuring men’s and women’s events played out mostly on the all-glass court.

Raphael Kandra is top seed for the men’s tournament, with the German #1 featuring for the first time since November’s Qatar Classic.

“I always try my best on court and if I can play like I did in Qatar I am more than happy.

“It’s more practice, more routine and the matches especially on a glass court that count for me. I hope I will feel more ready with that tournament in the bag.

“I know my body quite well nowadays. So I focused a lot on condition training, gym, athletic training and ball control. On top of that I bought a smart trainer for my bike, so I guess my quads are slightly bigger now!”
