  1. My coach and mentor, Andy changed the direction of my life but I suspect that there is a very long list of people who would say that.

He was definitely one of the good guys.

  2. Very sad to hear Andy has passed, he was a great man who had time for everyone, he was a mentor for me for many years and looked after so many players over the years’ very sad day for everyone, such a shock but will always remember the happy times we had together.

  3. I met Andy in Australia in August 1991 and we became good friends immediately.

Then again who couldn’t get on with one of the nicest people known to man. He always had a smile on his face and friendly comment/dig on his tongue. We shared some fabulous times together around squash and more lately in the annual golf battle with Messrs Shelley & Line [yes – we are leading 4-3 chaps!].

He will be sorely missed and thoughts are with Jan, Mike, Lisa and their families at his tough, but every time I think of Andy there will be an appreciation of how lucky I was to have known him and there will quickly be a smile on my face 😊

    RIP Mr. B

  5. I will be forever grateful to Andy for the support he gave me throughout my career, not just through my sponsorship with Prince but more importantly as a friend.
He was always there with a wise and reassuring word and I have some wonderful memories of time spent together at tournaments around the world.
The Squash World has lost a truly nice man.
My thoughts are with Jan, Michael, Lisa and their families.
    You will be sorely missed.

    RIP Andy

  6. The word nice may be overused and weakened because of that, but it is the most appropriate word I can think of to describe Andy- he was genuinely nice.

I spent many pleasant times in his company and he will not be forgotten.

  7. I remember him often walking in to a room full of mostly men with a greeting of, ‘afternoon ladies’!…always put a smile on my face and will always be remembered for putting a smile on faces. Enjoyed going around for cups of tea whilst he was stringing rackets and catching up….fond memories.
He will certainly be missed but has made memories for people to always remember him by.
Condolences to Michael, Lisa and family.
    RIP, Andy.

  8. Andy bunting was funny, caring, intelligent, insightful, interesting, wonderful, at times beautifully old fashioned (not always he was future facing too) and always absolutely fantastic company at both serious and silly times. A godfather in the modern squash world and a role model for all. He will be sorely missed by people all over the world as he had a huge impact on so many, myself thankfully, included. A bloody good human being and the ultimate gentleman. Rip me old mate x

Andy was a real friend during my 30 years in Cambridge and he was always helping people in all aspects of their lives, he alone kept Cambridge Squash club going for many years.
